Joe got his first guitar when he was 16 years old, spurring on his love for music. After becoming a Believer in Jesus at age 23 he started using his musical talents to glorify God and has since written over 50 songs and has recorded 2 albums that express his deep faith and encourage others in the truth of God's Word.

Brian has contributed to the Victory Church praise team for several years on piano, keyboard, and through composition. He lives in Omaha with his wife and four children.
carol meyer. vocals.
Carol is Joe's sister and has been a life-long musician, song-writer, and performer. She lives in Tulsa, OK with her husband and family.
coni worley. bass.
Coni was raised in Omaha, NE and in high school she played the violin, alto sax, harp, bassoon, and took electronic music studies. She came to Victory Church in 1996 and started playing the violin with the Praise Team. When the need for a bass player came up, Coni took on the challenge and has flourished as a top-notch bassist. She's currently working as an accountant at KZCO in Greenwood, Nebraska, has six children and eight grandchildren, and has been married for 21 years.
deborah laughlin. vocals.
Deborah is Joe's daughter and was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She began singing along to her dad's songs early in life and continued to cultivate this passion through leading worship for nine years on the Victory Church praise team, high school and college musical performances, and an oversees chorale tour. She now works for The Knot Wedding Network as an event coordinator.

Elizabeth is Joe's niece and has been singing from a young age. She lives in Tulsa, OK with her husband and daughter.
jared smith. flute.
Jared is currently a native of Omaha, Nebraska and studies classical and jazz flute at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His hobbies include reading, writing, riding motorcycles, and studying music theory. Jared is married with three children and desires to teach the Word of God, bringing glory to God through the gift of music.

Kyle is Joe's son and has played as a member of the Marine Corps bands in Okinawa, JP and San Diego, CA. Originally from Omaha, NE he continues to teach lessons and perform in the Omaha area at churches, schools, and recording sessions.
rob clements. trumpet.
Rob was born and raised in Elmwood, Nebraska. He played trumpet in the famed UNL Marching Band (1970-1973) and while earning his degree he was born again in 1972 through UNL Campus Crusade for Christ. He first came to Victory Church in October 1986, and enjoyed hearing Joe lead praise and worship and loved the way he followed the Holy Spirit, which encouraged Rob to bring his valuable talent to the Praise Team in April 1987, and has been enhancing worship with the trumpet and shofar ever since. He lives and works as a banker in Elmwood, NE, has been married to wife Peggy for 39 years, and has five children: Andy, Tom, Mary, Sarah and Debbie.

Tom was born and raised in Nebraska, and owns and operates Tesco Productions, the master producer of this album. Having been in the music environment since childhood and being a musician himself, Tom brought a good understanding of music stylings and creative expertise to each song.
Tom has expertise in providing live engineering for special events and international conventions, and his engineering skills have taken him overseas to provide audio support for a unique video project taped in West Africa.
Joe's first album, "With a New Song," was recorded at Tesco Productions in the early 90's, so Joe and Tom have a long-standing friendship.

Tye has been an avid electric guitar player, starting out in a rock band in the 60's, and enjoys all kinds of music. He has been a member of Victory Church for 7 years and has been keeping praise and worship lively with his talented playing for several years.
dan mcelroy. banjo.
Growing up in east Tennessee Dan was influenced by live, televised bluegrass on the ‘Cas Walker Show’ from Knoxville. He formed his first Omaha bluegrass band ‘Whole Wheat ’ in the 70’s , and then formed the ‘Bluegrass Playground’ in the early 80’s. As a member of the Omaha Musicians Assoc. Local 70-558 and the GPBGOTMA bluegrass club for more than 25 years . He has recorded (on the Folkways label) with bluegrass-based Bob Everhart as well on Bluegrass Playground LP . He has also recorded commercials, and has been a sideman on multiple bluegrass cd’s. His original banjo tune ‘Cassies Jump’ is a theme song for a long running Iowa Public Television Music series. He is married to wife Tess with three children .

Roger played fiddle from a young age and as an adult won many awards and was a member of The Musicians Hall Of Fame. Roger's music will be greatly missed as he passed away on March 11, 2011
